A table saw is the rip-and-repeat saw: sheet goods, a 2x to width, dados if the arbor and insert allow it. Jobsite is not contractor. Contractor is not cabinet. 10-inch is not 8-1/4. Rack-and-pinion is not a clamp fence. We match manufacturer specs and box contents to the Amazon listings we link. We do not print street prices; check current price and seller on Amazon before you buy.
This is not a shop test. Milwaukee is a Home Depot exclusive in the US. We treat the M18 FUEL 8-1/4 table saw as the HD cordless benchmark. We do not send you to an Amazon third-party listing for it.
This is a table-saw page, not a circular saw page and not a miter saw page. Shop blade size, rip capacity, fence type, and whether a stand is actually in the carton before you shop a brand.
Quick verdict
Best overall: DeWalt DWE7491RS — 10-inch jobsite, 15 amp, rack-and-pinion fence, 32-1/2-inch rip, rolling stand in the carton. Its Amazon listing matches the model on dewalt.com. Not an 8-1/4. Not a cabinet saw. Check price on Amazon
Best compact: DeWalt DWE7485 — 8-1/4-inch compact jobsite, 15 amp, 5,800 RPM, 24.5-inch rip, same rack-and-pinion family, no stand in the box. Not a 10-inch. Not a 4×4 one-pass class. Check price on Amazon
Best budget 10-inch with a stand: SKIL TS6307-00 — 10-inch, 15 amp, rack-and-pinion, 25-1/2-inch rip, integrated folding legs. skil.com lists $329.99 (manufacturer). Confirm the live title is still SKIL TS6307-00, not a P.T.S. listing. Check price on Amazon

Miter saws and circular saws are a stretch, not a pick. Craftsman 10-inch portable is a real SKU on craftsman.com. Cabinet and SawStop shop saws are a different class.
DeWalt DWE7491RS — best overall
If you want one 10-inch jobsite saw with a rolling stand and a rack-and-pinion fence, this is it. 15 amp. Amazon title prints 4,800 RPM. DeWalt rates 32-1/2-inch rip, 3-1/8-inch depth at 90° and 2-1/4-inch at 45°, 21-7/8 × 26-3/8-inch table, telescoping fence rails that retract for transport, flip-over fence for narrow rips, 2-1/2-inch dust port, onboard storage for guard, fence, riving knife, miter gauge, wrenches, push stick, and cord. Those numbers are DeWalt’s. In the carton per DeWalt: rolling stand, 10-inch 24-tooth carbide, rip fence, miter gauge, two wrenches, blade-guard assembly, push stick. Corded. This is a jobsite / portable saw, not a contractor open-stand and not a cabinet saw.
The Amazon listing title matches DWE7491RS. Check current price and seller on Amazon.
Who it’s for. Sheet-good rips and daily jobsite work next to an outlet when you want 10-inch depth, 32-1/2-inch rip, and a stand that rolls. The default if you are comparing DWE7491 vs DWE7485 vs Bosch 4100 and you want DeWalt’s fence plus the stand in one SKU.
Who it’s not for. Anyone who only needed an 8-1/4 they can lift into a truck — that is the DWE7485. Anyone who already decided Gravity-Rise setup speed matters more than rack-and-pinion — that is the Bosch 4100XC or GTS15-10. Worm-drive torque and 3-5/8-inch depth — SKILSAW SPT99-11. Already on M18 and you want cordless — Milwaukee at Home Depot. A first $200 DIY clamp-fence saw — there is no Craftsman Amazon link here.
Specs that matter. 15 amp corded. 10 in. 32-1/2 in rip. Rack-and-pinion. Rolling stand included. 3-1/8 in @ 90° / 2-1/4 in @ 45°. Model DWE7491RS. Amazon listing B00F2CGXGG.
Caveats. Confirm the live title is still DWE7491RS with the rolling stand — not a DWE7491 without RS, not a DWE7485, not Amazon Renewed. 3-year limited / 1-year service / 90-day (DeWalt).
DeWalt DWE7485 — compact 8-1/4
Same DeWalt rack-and-pinion idea in a smaller carton. 8-1/4-inch blade. 15 amp, 5,800 RPM. DeWalt rates 24.5 inches of rip for 4×8 plywood or OSB, power-loss reset, blade brake, metal roll cage, Site-Pro modular guarding, onboard storage. Those numbers are DeWalt’s. In the carton per DeWalt: saw, fence, anti-kickback pawls, miter gauge, push stick, 8-1/4 blade, non-through riving knife, two wrenches, modular guard. Stand not included. Home Depot prints the same “stand not included.” This is not the DWE7485WS kit.
Check current price and seller on Amazon. Stay on B0842QDW95; B0948H64BM is another DWE7485 listing. Skip B08ZH2HG6G (stand kit) and B08LPJ164C (glasses bundle).
Who it’s for. Compact jobsite or small shop when 8-1/4 depth and 24.5-inch rip are enough and you already have a bench or you will buy a stand later.
Who it’s not for. 10-inch depth, dado-class 10-inch work, or a rolling stand in the same box — buy the DWE7491RS. Gravity-Rise — Bosch. Cordless 8-1/4 on M18 — Milwaukee 2736-20 at Home Depot (same 24-1/2-inch rip class, battery not in the box).
Specs that matter. 15 amp corded. 8-1/4 in. 24.5 in rip. Rack-and-pinion. No stand. 5,800 RPM. Model DWE7485. Amazon listing B0842QDW95.
Caveats. Not a 10-inch. Confirm the live title is still DWE7485 saw-only, not DWE7485WS and not a generic “fits DWE7485” carton. 3-year limited (DeWalt).
SKIL TS6307-00 — budget 10-inch with folding stand
The 10-inch portable we can match to skil.com that includes the stand in the same SKU. 15 amp, 4,600 RPM, rack-and-pinion fence rails, 25-1/2-inch rip right / 14-inch left, 3-1/2-inch depth at 90° and 2-1/2-inch at 45°, bevel about −2° to 47°, anti-restart after power loss, dust-port elbow, integrated folding legs. SKIL rates 4×4 at 90°. That 4×4 number is SKIL’s. Dado: SKIL says use an 8-inch dado set with an optional insert — not in this carton. 3-year limited is the usual SKIL tool line; confirm on the live carton.
skil.com lists $329.99. That is the manufacturer price. Check current price and seller on Amazon. Skip B09WKP4CCJ — that listing has shown as brand P.T.S.
Who it’s for. A 10-inch rack-and-pinion saw with folding legs when DWE7491RS money is more than you want to spend. For a closer look, read our SKIL TS6307-00 jobsite table saw review.
Who it’s not for. 32-1/2-inch rip and a rolling cart — DWE7491RS. Worm-drive 3-5/8-inch depth — SPT99-11. Compact 8-1/4 — DWE7485.
Specs that matter. 15 amp corded. 10 in. 25-1/2 in rip. Rack-and-pinion. Integrated folding stand. 4,600 RPM. Model TS6307-00. Amazon listing B08F9RFJ2K.
Caveats. Confirm the live title still says SKIL TS6307-00. Not a SKILSAW worm drive.
Bosch 4100XC-10 — Gravity-Rise 10-inch (vs DWE7491 / DWE7485)
This is the Bosch 10-inch worksite SKU the DWE7491 vs DWE7485 vs 4100 conversation still uses. 15 amp, Bosch 4.0 max HP, 3,650 RPM. 30-inch right rip / 8.5-inch left. 3-1/8-inch at 90° / 2-1/4-inch at 45°. Bevel −2° to 47°. 30 × 22-1/2-inch table. SquareLock rip fence plus an auxiliary fence for narrow stock — not a rack-and-pinion gear. Soft-start, Constant Response, restart protection (Bosch). GTA47W Gravity-Rise wheeled stand with 8-inch treaded tires, single-action fold. Bosch prints 94 lb with stand and standard equipment, 58 lb bare saw. In the carton per Bosch: saw, Gravity-Rise stand, 10-inch carbide, SquareLock fence, auxiliary fence, miter, Smart Guard, push stick, throat plate, wrenches.
The Amazon listing we matched now says a new version is available: GTS15-10. If B0851KL858 goes OOS or flips to 3P, use the GTS15-10 listing instead. Skip dado-insert, zero-clearance, and outfeed bundles.
Who it’s for. Contractors and garage shops that fold and roll the saw every day and want Gravity-Rise more than DeWalt’s geared fence.
Who it’s not for. Anyone who already decided rack-and-pinion is the buy — DWE7491RS or GTS15-10. Compact 8-1/4 — DWE7485. Budget folding-leg 10-inch — SKIL TS6307-00.
Specs that matter. 15 amp corded. 10 in. 30 in rip. SquareLock (not R&P). Gravity-Rise GTA47W. 3,650 RPM. 94 lb with stand (Bosch). Model 4100XC-10. Amazon listing B0851KL858.
Caveats. Confirm the live title is still 4100XC-10, not a bundle and not a 3P gray box. Bosch is already pointing shoppers at GTS15-10.
Bosch GTS15-10 — current Bosch jobsite
The 10-inch Bosch jobsite Amazon is selling as the 4100XC successor. 15 amp. 32-1/8-inch rip. Rack-and-pinion fence with a hand-knob micro/macro adjust (Amazon/Bosch family copy). GTA50W Gravity-Rise stand, 8-inch rubber-composite tires, pedal release. Smart Guard, 4×4 single-cut capacity in the listing copy. That 4×4 claim is the listing’s, not a test from us.
Who it’s for. Buyers who want Bosch Gravity-Rise and a geared fence, or who land on a 4100XC listing that says “new version available.”
Who it’s not for. Anyone shopping a SquareLock 4100XC on purpose. DeWalt 32-1/2-inch R&P with the rolling stand they already know — DWE7491RS.
Specs that matter. 15 amp corded. 10 in. 32-1/8 in rip. Rack-and-pinion. Gravity-Rise GTA50W. Model GTS15-10. Amazon listing B0CKS6G6TC.
Caveats. Confirm B0CKS6G6TC is still the GTS15-10 saw + stand, not an accessory bundle.
SKILSAW SPT99-11 — worm-drive 10-inch
SKIL’s worm-drive table saw, not the red TS6307-00. SKIL rates 3-5/8-inch depth of cut and 30-1/2-inch rip, Dual-Field motor, rack-and-pinion fence, rolling stand with 16-inch wheels, dust-port elbow, outfeed and left support. Those capacities are SKIL’s. skil.com lists $749.99 (manufacturer). Check current price and seller on Amazon.
Who it’s for. Framing-class 4x and sheet work where worm-drive torque and the deeper 3-5/8-inch cut are the point, and the 16-inch wheels matter on rough ground.
Who it’s not for. A budget folding-leg SKIL. A compact 8-1/4. Anyone who only needed DeWalt’s 32-1/2-inch R&P cart.
Specs that matter. Corded worm drive. 10 in. 30-1/2 in rip. 3-5/8 in depth. Rack-and-pinion. 16 in wheels. Model SPT99-11. Amazon listing B07657FP2G.
Caveats. Confirm the live title is still SPT99-11, not the 8-1/4 SPT99T-01 (manufacturer lists $499.99 on skilsaw.com) and not TS6307-00.
Milwaukee 2736-20 — M18 FUEL benchmark (Home Depot only)
Milwaukee is a Home Depot line in the US. The current cordless table saw we can match to milwaukeetool.com is the 2736-20 tool-only. 8-1/4-inch blade. Milwaukee rates the power of a 15-amp corded saw, 24-1/2-inch rip, up to 600 linear feet per charge, POWERSTATE brushless at 5,800 RPM, rack-and-pinion fence, all-metal frame, onboard storage, ONE-KEY tracking/lockout. The 600-foot number and the “15A corded” claim are Milwaukee’s, not a test from us. The HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 they talk about is not in this carton. Tool only. Confirm the Home Depot price on HD’s page.
No Amazon link. Marketplace copies of a Home Depot exclusive are not first-party stock.
Who it’s for. Pros or DIY buyers who already live in M18 and can pick the 8-1/4 FUEL saw up at Home Depot. Same rip class as the DWE7485, without the cord.
Who it’s not for. Anyone we would send to Amazon. A first M18 purchase that still needs a HIGH OUTPUT 12.0. Anyone who wanted a 10-inch corded cart — that is the DWE7491RS.
Caveats. Confirm the Home Depot price in the store or on HD’s page. Not a 10-inch. Not a kit. Some dealer pages print 6,300 RPM; Milwaukee’s current product copy prints 5,800 — use 5,800.
Stretch / adjacent — Craftsman, Ryobi, cabinet, circulars, miters
Craftsman still sells a 10-inch portable with folding wheeled stand on craftsman.com (CMXETAX69434506): 15 amp, 4,500 RPM, 27-inch max rip, quick-release fence — not rack-and-pinion. Older CMXETAX69434502 pages print only 12-inch right rip. There is no Craftsman Amazon link. Ryobi’s RTS21G 10-inch + QuickStand is a real ryobitools.com SKU; the Amazon listing we found was Renewed. Skip it. Cabinet and hybrid shop saws (cast iron, 220 V, SawStop-class) are not jobsite saws. A circular saw rips a sheet on horses. A miter saw crosscuts and compounds. Neither is a table saw. Do not buy a circular because this page mentioned one.
Buying guide
Jobsite vs contractor vs cabinet. Everything we link is jobsite / portable: roll cage or folding/rolling stand, 120 V 15 amp (or M18). A contractor saw is the older open-stand 10-inch shop class. A cabinet saw is a stationary 220 V machine. Do not shop DWE7491RS as a cabinet saw and do not shop a cabinet listing as a jobsite cart.
10-inch vs 8-1/4. 10-inch (DWE7491RS, TS6307-00, 4100XC, GTS15-10, SPT99-11) is the depth and dado-class most people mean by “table saw.” 8-1/4 (DWE7485, Milwaukee 2736-20) rips 4×8 at ~24.5 inches and stays lighter. It is not a 4×4 one-pass 10-inch.
Rack-and-pinion vs clamp / SquareLock. Geared fences (DeWalt, SKIL TS6307, SPT99-11, GTS15-10, Milwaukee) move both ends together. Bosch 4100XC uses SquareLock — a clamp-style fence Bosch engineered for trueness, not a pinion. Craftsman’s current portable is a quick-release lock. After you bounce the saw off a truck, check fence-to-blade with a square either way. That is a shop habit, not a test we ran.
DWE7491 vs DWE7485 vs Bosch 4100. Need 10-inch + 32-1/2 rip + R&P + stand in one Amazon SKU: DWE7491RS. Need compact 8-1/4 R&P, no stand: DWE7485. Need Gravity-Rise fold every day and you accept SquareLock: 4100XC-10. Need Gravity-Rise and R&P: GTS15-10.
Stand in the carton. DWE7491RS, 4100XC, GTS15-10, TS6307-00, SPT99-11 include a stand. DWE7485 and Milwaukee 2736-20 do not.
Corded vs cordless. A 15-amp cord does not care about amp-hours. Buy corded next to a shop or generator. Buy M18 only if you already paid for HIGH OUTPUT packs. Brand lock-in: DeWalt vs Milwaukee vs Ryobi.
Third-party and stock. Check current price and seller on Amazon. Buy Home Depot exclusives at Home Depot, not from third-party Amazon sellers.
The other garage tools. Same-day framing on horses is a circular saw. Crosscut and crown is a miter saw. Curves and sink cutouts are a jigsaw.
FAQ
Which table saw should I buy in 2026? One 10-inch jobsite with a rolling stand and rack-and-pinion: DWE7491RS. Compact 8-1/4, no stand: DWE7485. 10-inch with folding legs for less: SKIL TS6307-00. Gravity-Rise SquareLock: 4100XC-10. Current Bosch with R&P + Gravity-Rise: GTS15-10. Worm drive: SPT99-11. Already on M18: Milwaukee at Home Depot.
Do I need a 10-inch? Yes if you want 3-1/8-inch-class depth and the usual 10-inch blade aisle. No if 8-1/4 and ~24.5-inch rip cover the sheets you actually rip — that is the DWE7485 or the Milwaukee 8-1/4.
Is Bosch 4100 better than the DeWalt 7491? Different fences and stands. DWE7491RS: more rip (32-1/2 vs 30), rack-and-pinion, rolling stand. 4100XC: Gravity-Rise fold, SquareLock, soft-start. GTS15-10 is Bosch’s current answer if you want both Gravity-Rise and a geared fence. We did not run them side by side.
Jobsite or cabinet? This page is jobsite. A cabinet saw is a shop machine. Do not buy either one expecting the other.
Should I just buy Milwaukee? If you already own M18 HIGH OUTPUT packs, buy the 2736-20 at Home Depot. It is the cordless 8-1/4 benchmark, not an Amazon recommendation. We are not sending you to a gray-market listing.
Table saw or circular saw or miter saw? Adjacent, not a substitute. This page is table saws. A circular saw rips a 2x and a sheet on horses. A miter saw crosscuts and compounds against a fence. A table saw is the rip-and-repeat shop/jobsite tool.
